Nuevo Leon Black Salsa

Ingredients

  • ½ pound well roasted (almost blackened) tomatillos Milpero
  • 1oz well roasted (almost blackened) white onion
  • 1 well roasted (almost blackened) garlic clove
  • 8 roasted piquín chiles
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Grind all the ingredients in a molcajete or blender until the mixture is coarsely puréed.

Season to taste with salt.

Serve in a sauce boat at room
temperature.
