Salsa Cruda


  • 3 tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp white onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lb. of peeled large tomatillos
  • 2 cuaresmeƱo chiles


In a molcajete or blender, grind the cilantro, garlic and salt until they form a paste.

Add, grind and mix the tomatos, chiles and onion until you reach a salsa consistency.

Add a cup of water and more salt if desired.
